It is a test of our combined national IQ
Sunday is a nationwide Red Wave parade/rally at 11am. Folks, we are living in revolutionary times. Just like the wars can be hot or cold, the revolutions can be bloody, velvet, or in a truly democratic way, election-driven. It is about the candidates but it is also about the electorate.
American people are an exceptional nation and that is why once in a while we produce exceptional leaders. Rallies are important. For us. For them. For the world to see. For that quiet friend we all have that would only join the cause once he sees where the wind blows (I wish it were just one). Well, the wind is blowing.
Our first Silicon Valley rally had 20 people over the over path in Belmont. This weekend, there will be 5-8 rallies in the Bay Area with more than a thousand people joining each. For this car parade/rally in San Mateo we are expecting 1000 people.
I never advocated for Bush and Romney and I never judged my friends who voted democratic or libertarian in those elections. In fact, I occasionally voted libertarian myself. This is different. Trump is not a republican. He is a party of his own who molded republicanism in his own image. He is the only thing standing between us and the abyss.
Now, it is our turn to show that we are capable of recognizing greatness however cringy this might sound to some of you when applied to Trump. It is a test of our combined national IQ, appreciation of liberty and everything that America stands for. The alternative is a return to the reign of the deep state and crony capitalism, quick erosion of our unique civil liberties, end of the freedom of speech (safety first) and a forceful conversion into socialism. This election is unlike any other. Are we like the British who failed to elect Churchill after the war? I like to believe we are better.
Let’s make sure that we are the kind of a country that can have a prophet in his own land. And that we are the kind of people who deserve his leadership. Do not sit this one out.
