Yes, in San Mateo County our mask mandates are viciously enforced by the cities. Never mind CA has 25% of all US homeless, our crime is through the roof and vandalism is everyday occurrence. Our city hall is closed for the second year (they get full salaries) so you cannot get a permit, but important things like mask citations are fully working.
Yes, in my cafe, I am piling up citations for refusing to make my customers wear masks.
