The current motto of “you don’t have to fly away to get away” – is the perfect planning time of your driving vacation including your four legged friends, who stood by you for the duration of the entire hibernation and definitely deserve to join you on this well deserved outing.
And as if they heard our wishful plans, some of the Bay Area luxury hotels are offering their guests and their beloved canine companions a very special custom created amenities: from a Heavenly Dog Bed (on loan during a guest’s stay); Fashionable Bandana; Colorful Poop Bag dispenser; travel Water and Food Bowl; Comfy Bed Blanket; Gourmet Dog Bone for Dessert; with additional pet treats available at the concierge desk.
An additional special welcome amenity is also offered for our furry friends including plush play toys, treats, and a discount at a local pet pampering store. Not sure they offer a soothing massage for your pooch, but they certainly deserve it!
Check on the pet policies and the hotel’s enrichment program before you depart for your trip. After all, it should be an enjoyable and well planned visit for all involved. Did I mention some of the hotels also welcome cats? Yes, they do! Meow!
